Add a way to place a podcast into a category
Would be great to allow users to import a podcast, and then submit it for inclusion into a particular category

Good idea, it would let many more podcasts get categorised without relying on the editors of the site.

List episodes in feed by date
When I add a new podcast to my collection it adds the last few episodes to the end of my RSS feed. It would be better if they were ordered in the feed by the date they were published, as I'm not interested in downloading the last 5 episodes of things added to my collection, but only the most recent.

Feeds contain episodes in the order that the podcasts or episodes were added to your collection or to a channel. Once the podcasts publish new episodes, the feed will then have the episodes in order by date.
However, I see how this is confusing. Perhaps we can change the behavior for new users to show the episodes sorted by date.

Make OPML imports a little smoother
The OPML import is an awesome idea, however it takes a while for large lists. I listen to a lot of podcasts (about 78 in my OPML file.) Also, add a "help" button for OPML files, as I didn't know what one was. Though I was interested enough to find out, a lot of people may not be.

I’ll definitely add the help link to the import page to make things a bit smoother. And I am already working on making the process happen a lot faster.

Since I listen to podcasts only when mobile, I would love to download from my device. Possible?

All my channels come up with "error generating page"
since Apr 22nd, 2010 in the morning, I cannot view the channels I've created. They have been functional until now, and I haven't made any changes in them before the error came up. I have 3 personal channels, one of which has around 70 feeds in it. However, even the smallest one with a half-dozen feeds won't "generate the page".

Like the Google Reader Shared Items Widget.

Subscribe to/feed for tagged episodes
Grab the "tags" from the podcasts blog post and index them in CastRoller so a feed based on overall tags can be provided.

add links to the itunes music store
How about adding links to the itunes music store so then we can use CastRoller to alert me of new podcasts but then I could download then directly on my iphone. Of course a mobile version of the site would be helpful too!

We will be adding the ability for multiple people to edit the same channel. But we probably won’t allow users to add to any channel.
Perhaps I’ll allow the owner of a channel to open up their channel to allow anyone to add it it.

don't colour buttons grey unless they really are disabled
The opening wizard has buttons in grey next to coloured buttons. Grey indicates disabled no?

Good point. On CastRoller we use grey buttons to indicate a negative response, but I can see the confusion.
I’ll take a look at choosing a better color for the Cancel/Skip buttons.

suggest UK podcasts for me not American, allow Region selection
I would like to have UK podcasts suggested, Im not intrested in american science or this american life,
Being one of the limey Brits, I like the bbc podcasts and would like to be able to filter regional content

provide a list of feeds added from the start
Where is my list of added feeds? I'm stuck in this wizard. Why can't I add feeds by url? I entered a load of addresses - went to the next page - and had some strange search results. It's trying to auto add recommendations based on only one feed I've told you?

The podcasts page on the wizard tries to add podcasts based on the names that you provided.
No, it doesn’t work in all cases. We do display the podcasts that it did add for you. The recommendations are optional and aren’t added by default..

Even if slowness of download is a problem, it should not be causing a blockage, but just slowness. Set it up so it works please.

Add Last.fm Scrobbling to the player.
I would be great, also when the player end is built out more, to be able to scrobble episodes. It could also be easily integrated with desktop and mobile players.

Good idea. Probably won’t happen until we create our own Flash player however. Which is on the todo list, but is a low priority.

Batch download option.
How about a way to batch download selected podcasts, or all of those in a person's account. There would also have to be a way limit these, so repeat/duplicate downloads wouldn't occur, such as a specified time frame, e.g., all new entries for the last 7 days. That's what I do each week with my current aggregator.
